I don’t miss you, but I remember you. You taught

After a while, you just can’t cry anymore.
You just have to believe that what happens
is what’s supposed to happen and you can’t
change that, even if you tried. So just dry
the tears and hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

And some days I wish I could un-meet you. But then I think about
all the good times we had. And it’s not enough to want you back
in my life, but it’s enough to make me realize that you and me had
our time; our laughs, our tears, our smiles. And through all the
ups and downs, you taught me how to love.
